Giving To Camp Moosilauke

Every summer Moosilauke is home to boys from around 20 states and 7 different countries. It is also home to boys from a diverse range of ethnicities and socio-economic backgrounds. And this diversity is central to our ability to create the special culture and community that helps your boys become their best selves.

One of the main reasons the Boston Globe published a feature article about Moosilauke a few years ago is because our community is diverse, inclusive, and supportive.

Financial aid is an essential tool to creating our intentional community. Beyond just helping make Moosilauke accessible to great boys who otherwise could not afford it, our financial aid dollars help create the diversity that research tells us makes all of our boys more compassionate, empathetic, and better equipped to make a difference in the world.

We provide over $300,000 in need based financial aid each summer to families. As many of you know, we also sponsor and host each year a five day overnight camp experience for low income New Hampshire and Vermont families at the end of the summer. And we provide this funding and programming with almost no related endowment.

You can support financial aid at Camp Moosilauke by donating to the Fresh Air-Camp Moosilauke Scholarship Fund, which specifically targets children from low-income communities in New York City. The organization invests and administers all donations to the fund. All gifts to the fund are tax deductible. Please make checks to this fund out to Camp Moosilauke Fresh Air Scholarship Fund.

You can also make an unrestricted taxable donation to support costs not related to financial aid–like facilities renovations and equipment purchases–by making a check out to Camp Moosilauke LLC.

Checks can be sent to: Camp Moosilauke, 55 Moosilauke Way, Orford, NH 03777.

You can also send donations through a wire transfer. Please contact us for bank and wire transfer information.

In terms of donation size, every gift counts. Some of you may be able to endow a tuition in perpetuity, others pay tuition for a camper for one year, and others write a check for $100. The 2026 summer tuition is $9,800 for the 4 week session and $5,725 for the 2-½ week session.

Thanks in advance for your support!
